Kurt Pechnick, Physical Therapist at Imperial Point Medical Center, uses the Eliptical Runner that was purchased from the proceeds of last year's race.    The proceeds will benefit the Wellness Center at Imperial Point Medical Center (IPMC). The Wellness Center offers the community an opportunity to pursue their fitness goals under the guidance of highly trained professionals. IPMC Licensed Physical Therapists and ACSM Certified Exercise Physiologists collaborate to develop exercise programs that safely and effectively assist clients in obtaining fitness objectives. The Wellness Center offers clients the unique opportunity to have previous or current orthopedic limitations identified and accompanied in the development or redesigning of their fitness objectives. The Center also offers a variety of health promotion programs including smoking cessation, hypnosis-based weight loss, individualized nutritional counseling and personal training sessions.
